The immediate past President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, will on Wednesday, hold a world press conference in Geneva, Switzerland to address two most critical topics in Nigeria and West Africa.
The former President will talk about security and civil peace in Nigeria and West Africa, on one hand, as well as improvement of health and education of children. He will also in the press conference speak on Boko Haram activities in Nigeria and the raging fight against insurgency.
According to a statement by the Executive Director of Geneva Press Club, Guy Mettan, the press conference, which holds at 3pm local time, is part of activities lined up by the Circle of Diplomats, Geneva in honour of Jonathan, which would be concluded with a dinner same day.
The statement noted that Circle of Diplomats (Circle Diplomatique) will also host a dinner in honour of Jonathan on Wednesday night at the Intercontinental Hotel, Geneva, adding that he is expected to address accredited United Nations correspondents and Swiss journalists.
